Welcome to East to West Services. By booking or utilizing our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before your scheduled service.
1. Scope of Services
- We provide recurring (weekly, fortnightly, or monthly) or one-off lawn and garden maintenance as agreed upon during booking or quoting.
- Standard services include lawn mowing, edging, line trimming, and blowing of clippings.
- Additional services (such as hedging, garden tidying, weed spraying, or green waste removal) must be requested and agreed upon prior to service delivery.
2. Pricing & Payment
- Services are charged at the agreed quoted rate (GST inclusive where applicable).
- Invoices are issued upon completion of service and payment is strictly due within 7 days of the invoice date via bank transfer, cash, or online payment platform.
- We reserve the right to apply late fees to overdue balances.
3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and efficient service, customers must ensure the site is prepared prior to our arrival:
- Clear Premises: Remove all pets, children, toys, items, and dog waste from the service area.
- Property Access: Ensure clear, unlocked access to all areas requiring service.
- Hazard Disclosure: Inform us in writing prior to service of any hidden hazards or concealed items (e.g., low-lying star pickets, surface irrigation systems, concealed pipes, or subterranean objects).
4. Cancellations & Weather Policy
- Customer Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellation or rescheduling. Cancellations made within the 24-hour window will incur the full service fee.
- Weather Adjustments: If we must postpone or cancel a service due to unsafe weather conditions (severe rain, storm, or extreme heat), no charge will apply, and we will contact you to reschedule.
5. Liability & Insurance
- East to West Services holds comprehensive Public Liability Insurance.
- We are not liable for pre-existing property damage, undisclosed hidden hazards, or damage resulting from a failure to properly prepare the site prior to our arrival.
6. Termination of Agreement
- Either party may terminate a ongoing recurring service agreement by providing 14 days’ written notice.
7. Acceptance
- Accessing our booking system, submitting an online service request, or allowing our personnel to perform services constitutes full acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
